Rules
No surprises, stated up front. If anything below turns out to be untrue, email us and we'll refund you.
What you are buying
An advertising placement. Your listing goes live, gets a position on the board, and gets clicks. You are not buying a bid, a lottery ticket, or a chance at anything — the placement is delivered immediately and it is yours regardless of what rank you end up at.
How rank works
Rank is your heat, highest first. Heat is the ad spend you have left. Every dollar you pay adds a dollar of heat, and heat halves every 7 days.
So $100 today counts as $100 now, $50 in 7 days, $25 in 14 days, and about $13 in 21 days. Formally: heat(t) = Σ amountᵢ × 2^(−(t − tᵢ) / 7 days).
If two listings have identical heat, the one that listed earlier ranks higher.
Decay does not move you down
This is the part people get wrong, so plainly: every listing on the board decays at exactly the same rate. If nobody pays for a week, everything halves together and the order does not change by a single place. You can sit at #1 for a month without paying again, as long as nobody challenges you.
You only ever lose a position because someone paid. What decay actually does is make you steadily cheaper to overtake. Pay $100 and it costs someone $101 to pass you today, about $51 in 7 days, about $26 in 14 days. The door behind you gets cheaper; you don't get pushed through it.
Why it works that way
Because a board where the top spot is bought once and frozen forever is dead in a week — that is exactly how every other version of this has died. If the price to enter only ever goes up, it eventually costs more than the traffic is worth, nobody buys, and the whole thing becomes a monument to whoever got there first.
Decay means the price of the top spot tracks demand automatically. Busy board, prices stay high. Quiet board, prices fall until someone thinks it's worth it again. It also means it works like every other ad budget on earth: you spent it, you got the traffic, the budget is gone. Your lifetime total never decays — it lives permanently on the Hall of Fame.
Prices
New listing: minimum $5. Top-up: minimum $5. Whole US dollars only. USD only.
Rank is decided when your payment settles, not when you open checkout. Someone can pass you while your tab is open. We will not fail or refund a payment for this — your listing simply lands where its heat puts it.
Links
Every outbound listing link carries rel="sponsored nofollow", with no exceptions and no paid upgrade to remove it. Paid links that pass PageRank are a Google link scheme. We sell traffic, and we publish the cost per click we actually delivered so you can check whether it was worth it. Anyone selling you dofollow placements is putting their own domain at risk and yours along with it.
Clicks
We count total clicks and unique daily clicks, deduplicated per listing per day per visitor. Obvious bots are excluded. Both numbers are public on every listing, along with cost per click. Your raw IP is never stored — only a salted hash, and the salt rotates daily.
Refunds
Non-refundable once your listing is live and receiving impressions. Three exceptions, all automatic and all in your favour: we refund in full if we reject or remove your listing; we refund in full for a duplicate or accidental charge reported within 24 hours; and we refund if anything on this page turns out to be false.
We do not refund because your rank fell. That is the product, and it is disclosed here, at checkout, and on your receipt.
What we will remove
Illegal goods or services, adult content, gambling, malware, phishing, crypto pump-and-dump or scam tokens, hate or harassment, impersonation, MLM and get-rich-quick schemes, weapons, prescription pharmaceuticals. Every submission is screened before it can be charged, and removed listings are refunded in full.
What we do not promise
Any particular amount of traffic. Any particular rank, or that you will keep one. Any SEO benefit — see Links. That the board will still be popular next month.
Changes
The half-life is currently 7 days. If we ever change it we will announce it at least 7 days ahead. We will lengthen it before we shorten it — shortening it would accelerate the burn on money you already paid, and that is not a change we would make quietly.
